''The FM104 PhoneShow'' was a late night phone-in programme on the Dublin radio station FM104 hosted by Keith Ward. It aired Monday to Thursday evenings from 21:00 to 01:00 and from 22:00 to 00:00 on Friday nights. Live images from the studio were simulcast on local cable TV station City Channel, until the TV station closed in September Get It Off Your Chest A typical programme begins with a 90-minute segment called ''Get It Off Your Chest'', a less serious show in which callers are invited to call the station to discuss whatever they want. This section includes phone, text-in competitions and callers to the show randomly winning small prizes. Death Of Michael Jackson
On June 25, 2009, American singer Michael Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. His physician, Conrad Murray, said that he found Jackson in his room not breathing and with a weak pulse; he administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to no avail, and security called 9-1-1 at 12:21 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time ( UTC–7). Paramedics treated Jackson at the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. ''The Strawberry Alarm Clock'' is a morning radio programme on FM104, an Independent Local Radio station in Dublin. It broadcasts weekday mornings from 6-10am, with "Best Of The Strawberry Alarm Clock" Saturdays from 9am-12pm. The show podcasts weekly through www.fm104.ie History The show began in 1995, and was originally presented by Timmy Ryan, Justin McKenna, Conor Mahoney and Joan Lea. Westlife
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. The group currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was a member, until he left in 2004. The group temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and later reunited in 2018. City Channel
City Channel was an Irish television network that began broadcasting in October 2005, which focused primarily on local and regional television. It operated three stations: City Channel Dublin, City Channel Galway, and Channel South. The channel was replaced by RTÉ One +1 on 13 March 2012. Launch City Channel was given a licence by the BCI (now the BAI) on 31 January 2005 and began broadcasting in October 2005. City Channel was originally launched on the NTL and Chorus cable services in Dublin, Galway and Waterford, however all four services were available on the digital services of UPC Ireland.
