FL3 (Lazio Regional Railways)
The FL3 (until 2012 FR3) is a commuter rail route. It forms part of the network of the Lazio regional railways ( it, ferrovie regionali del Lazio), which is operated by Trenitalia, and converges on the city of Rome, Italy. The route operates over the infrastructure of the Rome–Capranica–Viterbo railway. Within the territory of the ''comune'' of Rome, it plays the role of a commuter railway. It is estimated that on average about 60,000 passengers travel on an FR3 train each day. The designation FL3 appears only in publicity material (e.g. public transport maps), in the official timetables, and on signs at some stations. The electronic destination boards at stations on the FL3 route show only the designation "R" and the relevant train number. ALe 426/506 TAF (acronym of Treno ad Alta Frequentazione) is an Italian Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) used mainly on commuter regional trains. Concept design has been made by Italian designer Pininfarina. Two different companies employ them: Trenitalia and Ferrovie Nord Milano (FNM). Some slightly modified version of the EMU have been purchased by Moroccan Railways in 2006. Bracciano Railway Station
Bracciano is a small town in the Italian region of Lazio, northwest of Rome. Vetralla is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Viterbo, in central Italy, south of that city, located on a shoulder of Monte Fogliano. History Vetralla's dominating fortified position in the heart of Etruscan territories has been continuously occupied since the Early Middle Ages. The Roman site, two kilometers distant, was a posting station on the Via Cassia; some ruins of walls and paving at S. Maria di Forcassi still mark the Roman Forum Cassii.
