FK Vrbas
FK Vrbas () is a defunct football club based in Vrbas, Vojvodina, Serbia. History FK Vrbas was founded on 27 August 1969 as a result of a merger between two local clubs, OFK Vrbas and FK Kombinat. They subsequently won the Novi Sad-Syrmia Zone League, the fourth tier of Yugoslav football, in their inaugural 1969–70 season, thus earning promotion to the Vojvodina League, the third national tier. In the following two campaigns, the club finished runners-up to Srem (1970–71) and Radnički Sombor (1971–72), before winning first place in both 1972–73 (lost in the promotion playoffs against Dinamo Pančevo) and 1973–74, eventually securing a spot in the Yugoslav Second League. They spent the next two years in the second tier, between 1974 and 1976, before being relegated back to the Vojvodina League. Vojvodina League West
Vojvodina League West ( sr, Vojvođanska liga "Zapad") was a section of the Serbian Zone Leagues, Serbia's fourth football league. The league was operated by the Football Association of Vojvodina. Vojvodina League West consisted of 16 clubs from West Bačka District, South Bačka District and Syrmia District who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. At the end of the season the top club was promoted to Serbian League Vojvodina, while second placed team in this group faced second team Vojvodina League East side for a two-legged play-off. The winner on aggregate score after both matches will earn a spot in the Serbian League Vojvodina. Boško Đorđević
Boško Đorđević ( sr-cyr, Бошко Ђорђевић; also transliterated Boško Djordjević; born 22 August 1953) is a retired Serbian football player. He is mainly known for spending five and a half seasons with FK Partizan between 1974 and the winter of 1979, with whom he won the 1975–76, 1977–78 Yugoslav First League and Mitropa Cup in 1978. Along with Dušan Savić, Đorđević was also joint top scorer of the league in the 1974–75 season with 20 goals in 29 league appearances, although Partizan finished that season sixth, with 12 points behind champions Hajduk Split. Momčilo Raičević
Momčilo Raičević (; born 25 November 1955) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career After having played for Vrbas, Raičević moved to Borac Banja Luka in 1980. He spent four seasons with the club, the first of which was in the Yugoslav First League. In 1984, Raičević returned to Vrbas, remaining there until 1988. Managerial career Raičević managed numerous clubs in his homeland, including Banat Zrenjanin (December 2008–March 2009), Inđija (October 2009–October 2010), Mačva Šabac (August 2014–March 2015), and OFK Odžaci (February–October 2016). In February 2022, Raičević was appointed as manager of Obilić Zmajevo. Milorad Sekulović
Milorad "Mikan" Sekulović (; 10 October 1950 – 5 June 2013) was a Serbian football manager and player. Playing career Born in Bačko Dobro Polje, a village near Titov Vrbas, Sekulović started out at local club Sutjeska, before joining Vrbas in the summer of 1971. He spent two seasons with them, scoring 62 goals in 61 appearances in the Vojvodina League, the third tier of Yugoslav football. After impressive displays with Vrbas, Sekulović moved to Yugoslav First League club Vojvodina in the summer of 1973. He spent just half a season there, making his debut in the top flight, before returning to Vrbas. In the spring of 1974, Sekulović netted 13 goals in 16 appearances, helping the side win promotion to the Yugoslav Second League. He was the team's top scorer over the next few seasons, helping them win the Vojvodina League on two more occasions (1976–77 and 1978–79). Radivoje Ognjanović
Radivoje Ognjanović (; 1 July 1933 – 30 August 2011) was a Yugoslav and Serbian football manager and player. Club career After briefly playing for Partizan, Ognjanović made a name for himself at Radnički Beograd, totaling 153 appearances and scoring 61 goals for the club in the Yugoslav First League between 1953 and 1961. Ognjanović joined Basel's first team for their 1964–65 season under head coach Jiří Sobotka. After playing in one test game Ognjanović played his domestic league debut for his new club in the home game in the Landhof on 13 December 1964 as Basel were defeated 2–3 by Servette. He scored his first goal for the club, just three days later, on 16 December, in the away game in the Olympique de la Pontaise as Basel won 2–1 against Lausanne-Sport. Dušan Drašković
Dušan Drašković (born 20 June 1939) is a Montenegrin former football manager and player. He is considered one of the pioneers of modern football in Ecuador. Playing career During his playing career, Drašković played for Spartak Subotica, Vojvodina, Radnički Niš and Vrbas. He represented Yugoslavia at the 1971 Mediterranean Games, winning the gold medal. Managerial career In his early managerial career, Drašković served as manager of Vrbas (twice), Vojvodina and Spartak Subotica, before leaving his homeland in 1988. Joakim Vislavski
Joakim "Kime" Vislavski (; 7 December 1940 – 10 September 2014) was a Yugoslav and Serbian football manager and player. Playing career Vislavski started playing at his hometown club Radnik Vrbas, aged 15. He later moved to Partizan, helping the side win the Yugoslav First League on four occasions ( 1960–61, 1961–62, 1962–63, and 1964–65). After leaving Partizan in 1967, Vislavski spent some time at Olimpija Ljubljana, before returning to his hometown and joining newly formed club Vrbas. He also represented Yugoslavia at the 1959 UEFA European Under-18 Championship. Managerial career During his managerial career, Vislavski worked at numerous clubs, including Vrbas, Mladost Apatin, Spartak Subotica, Inđija, AIK Bačka Topola, and Hajduk Kula. He died in his hometown at the age of 73. Vojin Lazarević
Vojin Lazarević (Cyrillic: Војин Лазаревић; born 22 February 1942) is a Yugoslav former football manager and player. Club career A prolific striker, Lazarević started out at his hometown club Sutjeska Nikšić. He was the Yugoslav Second League (Group East) top scorer on three occasions, before moving to Red Star Belgrade in 1966. Over the next four seasons, Lazarević scored 70 goals in 112 appearances in the Yugoslav First League, helping the club win three consecutive championships (1968, 1969, and 1970). He subsequently moved abroad and played for RFC Liège (Belgium) and Nancy (France), before returning to Red Star Belgrade in 1972. Radoslav Batak ( sr-Cyrl, Радослав Батак; born 15 August 1977) is a Montenegrin professional football manager and a former player who played as a defender. Club career Born in Novi Sad, Batak started out at Metalac Futog in 1989, before joining the youth system of Vojvodina in 1993. He was loaned to ČSK Čelarevo, Mladost Apatin and Vrbas. Goran Kartalija ( sr-cyr, Горан Карталија; born 17 January 1966) is a Yugoslav and Austrian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is the currently the head coach of Austrian club SV Steyregg. Career Born in Kljajićevo, Kartalija made his senior debuts with Vrbas, spending three seasons at the club (1985–1988), before transferring to Vojvodina.
