FK Gostivar (1919)
FK Gostivar ( mk, ФК Гостивар) was a football club based in the city of Gostivar, Republic of Macedonia. It was founded in 1919 and was one of the oldest clubs in the country. In 2010 the club was merged with KF Gostivari, KF Rinia founded in 1998 (then renamed to KF Gostivari), and after that the club was dissolved. Supporters The supporters group Gemidžii is named after the anarchistic group who have committed the Boatmen of Thessaloníki, bombings in Thessaloniki in 1903 and the name is similar to an supporters group of FK Borec from Veles (city), Veles. Gostivar ( mk, Гостивар , Albanian and Turkish: ''Gostivar''), is a city in North Macedonia, located in the upper Polog valley region. Boatmen Of Thessaloníki
The Boatmen of Thessaloniki ( bg, Гемиджиите; mk, Гемиџиите) or the Assassins of Salonica, was a Bulgarian anarchist group, active in the Ottoman Empire in the years between 1898 and 1903. The members of the Group were predominantly from Veles and most of them − young graduates from the Bulgarian Men's High School of Thessaloniki. The group was radicalized by the Bulgarian anarchist Slavi Merdzhanov, whose initial target was the capital Constantinople, and subsequently Adrianople, but after his execution by the Ottomans in 1901, the group's attention shifted to Thessaloniki. Veles ( mk, Велес ) is a city in the central part of North Macedonia on the Vardar river. The city of Veles is the seat of Veles Municipality. Veles is the sixth largest Macedonian city with a total population of 43,716 (census 2002).
