FK Budućnost Krušik 2014 () is a football club based in Valjevo, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League West, the third tier of the national league system. History The club was formed in July 2014 as a result of a merger between two Valjevo clubs, FK Budućnost and FK Krušik. They spent the first seven seasons since their inception in the Serbian League West, before suffering relegation to the Kolubara-Mačva Zone League in 2021. The club quickly recovered and returned to the third tier the following year as champions. Serbian League West () is one of four sections of the Serbian League, the third tier of professional football in Serbia. The other three sections are Serbian League Belgrade, Serbian League East and Serbian League Vojvodina. It is also the highest regional league for the western part of Serbia. The league was founded in 2003 following a merger between the Serbian League Dunav and the Serbian League Morava. The Serbian football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for association football clubs in Serbia. The system has a hierarchical format with promotion and relegation between leagues at different levels. Format The number of teams promoted between leagues or divisions varies, and promotion is usually contingent on meeting criteria set by the higher league, especially concerning appropriate facilities and finances. The top two levels contain one league each. Below this, the levels have progressively more parallel leagues, which each cover progressively smaller geographic areas. FK Budućnost Valjevo
FK Budućnost Valjevo () is a defunct football club based in Valjevo, Serbia. History The original club was founded as SK Sloga in 1920. They were, however, banned by the authorities after just a year. In 1925, the club continued its activities as RSK Valjevo and was led by some founding members of the previous club. Their first recorded game occurred in 1926. In 1929, the club changed its name to FK Budućnost. They became members of the Belgrade Football Subassociation in 1930. In 1959, the club merged with FK Radnički to form FK Metalac. They earned promotion to the Yugoslav Second League in 1969. In 1971, the club changed its name back to FK Budućnost. Slaviša Božičić (Serbian Cyrillic: Славиша Божичић; born 8 January 1966) is a Serbian Manager (association football), football manager. Dejan Nikolić (; born 27 April 1969) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career Nikolić started out with Sloboda Užice and played in the Yugoslav Second League for three seasons ( 1988–89, 1989–90, and 1990–91).
