The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet ( sr, / , ) is a variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language, updated in 1818 by Serbian linguist Vuk Karadžić. It is one of the two alphabets used to write standard modern Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Boleč ( sr-cyr, Болеч) is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in the municipality of Grocka. Location Boleč is located 17 km east of the Belgrade, near the road of ''Smederevski put'' which connects Belgrade and Smederevo. One of the branches of the Bolečica river flows through the settlement and givs its name to it (its derived from Serbian words for ''bol'' (pain) and ''leči(ti)'' (to cure), so it means the ''water that heals the pain'').
