Planica Nordic Centre
The Planica Nordic Centre ( sl, Nordijski center Planica) is a nordic skiing complex located in Planica, Slovenia. It consists of one ski flying hill, seven ski jumping hills, and a cross-country skiing track. It is the only nordic centre in the world with eight ski jumping hills. The complex was officially opened in December 2015. Ski jumping hills There are a total of eight ski jumping hills at the Planica Nordic Centre. The complex consists of one ski flying hill, one large hill, one normal hill, and five smaller hills intended for youth ski jumpers and children. Letalnica bratov Gorišek Letalnica bratov Gorišek is the biggest of eight hills located at the Planica Nordic Centre, and is used for ski flying events. Iivo Niskanen
Iivo Henrik Niskanen (born 12 January 1992) is a Finnish cross-country skier who has competed in the FIS Cross-Country World Cup since 2011. He is a three-time Olympic champion. Career Iivo Niskanen made his individual World Cup debut on 12 March 2011, when he became 69th in a 20 km skiathlon in Lahti, Finland. He had his breakthrough at the international level when he won the 15-kilometre classic race at the 2014 under-23 World Championships in Val di Fiemme on 30 January 2014. He won the race with a 17.4 seconds margin to Sergey Ustiugov. Only three days after he won the gold medal at the under-23 World Championships, he became 8th in a 15 km classic World Cup race in Toblach, Italy. Scott Patterson (born January 28, 1992) is an American cross-country skier. He competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics and 2022 Winter Olympics. He skied for South Anchorage High School, where he was a three-time Alaska State skimeister. He then skied for the University of Vermont along with his sister, Caitlin.
