FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 – Team Large Hill
The Team large hill took place on 2 March 2013, Austria won, ahead of Germany and Poland. The Austrian win was almost jeopardized by a ski malfunction in Manuel Fettner's second jump. His right ski unclipped during the landing, but Fettner managed to stay upright until he passed the fall line and Austria kept their lead. It is the first time someone managed this in a World Championship. The time between the end of the competition and the flower ceremony was chaotic due to a point reduction given to Norway, which initially was declared silver medalists. The reason for the point deduction was a human error done by the start gate official who moved the start gate up instead of down, as the Norwegian coach requested, on Anders Bardal's first jump. Wolfgang Loitzl
Wolfgang Loitzl (born 13 January 1980) is an Austrian former ski jumper. He was the winner of the 2008–09 Four Hills Tournament and the 2009 Normal Hill World Champion. Career He won seven medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with seven golds (Individual normal hill: 2009, Team normal hill: 2001, 2005; Team large hill: 2005, 2007, 2009, 2013) and one bronze (Team large hill: 2001). He earned a bronze medal in the team event at the FIS Ski-Flying World Championships 2004 and finished 15th at the individual competition at those same championships. Loitzl has seven individual career victories from 1998 to 2003. Loitzl won the 2008–09 Four Hills Tournament. In the final competition of the tournament in Bischofshofen, he received the maximum score (20) for the first jump from all five judges. Anders Jacobsen (ski Jumper)
Anders Jacobsen (; born 17 February 1985) is a Norwegian former ski jumper. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics and won a team bronze medal in the large hill event in 2010. He is the youngest Norwegian winner of Four Hills Tournament. Career Early career He made his debut in the Continental Cup on 11 January 2003, where he finished in the 50th position. In August the same year in a FIS Cup meeting in Rælingen, he placed 13th. In 2006 he was picked for one of the eight spots in the Norwegian World Cup team. Roberto Dellasega (born 15 June 1990) is an Italian ski jumper who has competed since 2006. At the 2010 Winter Olympics, he finished 44th in the qualifying round of the individual large hill event while being disqualified in the individual normal hill event. Jan Matura
Jan Matura (born 29 January 1980) is a Czech former nordic skier competing from 1999 to 2001 and a former ski jumper competing from 2002 to 2017. Nordic combined Matura finished eighth in the 4 × 5 km team event at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. His best results at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was 34th in the 15 km individual at Ramsau in 1999. At the World Cup level, Matura's best finish was ninth in a 15 km individual event in Germany in 1999. Jakub Janda
Jakub Janda (; born 27 April 1978) is a Czech politician and former ski jumper. In ski jumping he competed from 1996 to 2017, winning the 2005/06 World Cup and 2005/06 Four Hills Tournament (shared with Janne Ahonen), as well as silver and bronze medals at the 2005 World Championships. Peter Prevc (; born 20 September 1992) is a Slovenian ski jumper. He won the 2016 Ski Jumping World Cup overall title and four Olympic medals, including gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics in the mixed team event. Robert Kranjec
Robert Kranjec (born 16 July 1981) is a Slovenian former ski jumper. Career Kranjec won a bronze medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in the team large hill event. He won his first World Cup event at Kuusamo, Finland in 2005. In the following years he could not reach any top results except for ski flying competitions. In 2010 he celebrated his second World Cup victory at Tauplitz, Austria.
