The FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships is the world championship organized by the FIS for freestyle skiing. It was first organized in 1986 and is now held every odd year. Currently, the events included in the world championships are Moguls, Dual Moguls, Aerials, Ski cross, Slopestyle and Half-pipe. Formerly, Acroski and a combined event were held. History Of Trentino
The History of Trentino begins in the mid- Stone Age and continues to the present day when Trentino is part of the Italian Republic. Jacqui Cooper
Jacqueline Cooper (born 6 January 1973) is an Australian motivational speaker and retired freestyle skier. Skiing career Cooper started skiing aerials at age 16 and was on the Australian team for 20 years. During her career she had many injuries, including a shattered knee, elbow, hip, shoulder and a broken back. She finished in sixteenth place at the 1994 Winter Olympics and crashed out of the qualification round at the 1998 Winter Olympics. At the Salt Lake Winter Games in 2002, the three-time world champion was a favourite to win gold, but a training accident the week before those games shattered her knee. Teammate Alisa Camplin would win the gold for Australia. Cooper made her comeback at the 2004 Mount Buller World Aerials, two and a half years after her Salt Lake accident. Assoli Vitalyevna Slivets (russian: Ассоль Витальевна Сливец; born 22 June 1982), also known under the nickname Assoli "Oly" Slivets, is a Belarusian, and later Russian freestyle skier. She competed for Belarus until 2011, and then switched to Russia. She has participated at two Olympic Games in the Aerial event. Margarita Marbler (born July 16, 1975) is a retired Austrian freestyle moguls skier, originally from Russia. She's been included in three Winter Olympic Games; at Salt Lake City, Turin and Vancouver. She has competed in both the Moguls and Dual Moguls event, as well as the Acrobatics and Aerials events. Marbler uses Elan skis, Dalbello Boots and Exel ski poles. Shannon Bahrke
Shannon Bahrke (born November 7, 1980) is an American Olympic freestyle skier and entrepreneur. Bahrke was the silver medalist in Moguls at the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City and went on to become the 2003 World Cup Champion. She also won the bronze medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. With her bronze medal in 2010, she became the first US women freestyle skier to win multiple Olympic medals. Deborah Scanzio (born in Faido) is a Swiss-born Italian freestyle skier, specializing in Moguls. Scanzio competed at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Italy. Jennifer Heil (born April 11, 1983) is a Canadians, Canadian freestyle skiing, freestyle skier from Spruce Grove, Alberta. Heil started skiing at age two. Jennifer Heil won the first gold medal for Canada in the 2006 Winter Olympics games in Turin, Italy and a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, which was also Canada's first medal in those games. Heil is the reigning world champion in dual moguls. She has three world championship titles in total and two silver medals from the Worlds as well.
