FINAS
The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia ( ms, Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional), abbreviated FINAS, is the central government agency for the film industry of Malaysia. FINAS is similar to the Motion Picture Association of America in the United States. In 2013, the corporation was merged with Filem Negara Malaysia (FNM) to form a sole film agency. The National Film Department of Malaysia ( ms, Filem Negara Malaysia), abbreviated FNM, sometimes ''Jabatan Filem Negara'' (JFN) or informally the Malaysian Film Unit; was a Malaysian state-owned film organization. Gerald Hans Isaac (born 20 August 1971) is a Malaysian actor, producer, and director. On 10 April 2019, he was appointed as the Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS). History and legislative regulations LPF was established on May 1, 1954 in Singapore.
