Winterberg Bobsleigh, Luge, And Skeleton Track
The Winterberg bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track is a bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track located in Winterberg, Germany. It is the only track of its kind in the world with a turn that has corporate sponsorship with turn seven being sponsored by Veltins, a German brewery which has its headquarters located in neighboring Meschede. History Completed in 1977, the track underwent a redesign of its start house area where the women's luge start house was moved from before turn four to near the men's luge start house prior to turn one in 2006. Mica McNeill
Mica McNeill (born 25 September 1993) is a British bobsledder. She won a silver medal at the 2012 Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, and at the 2021–22 Bobsleigh World Cup event in Sigulda, Latvia. She competed at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics. Early life McNeill is from Consett, County Durham, England, and attended Durham High School for Girls. Career She joined the British Bobsleigh programme in 2010, and competed at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria. Nadezhda Viktorovna Sergeeva (russian: Надежда Викторовна Сергеева; born ) is a Russian bobsledder. Career Prior to bobsledding, she competed in track and field, specialising in the heptathlon. She placed tenth at the 2004 World Junior Championships, was a bronze medallist at the 2009 European Athletics U23 Championships, and in her final year of competition she came 21st in the 2010 Hypo-Meeting. Lisa-Marie Buckwitz (born 2 December 1994) is a German bobsledder. She won a gold medal in the two-woman event at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and also competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
