The FIBA Oceania Championship for Men 2003 was the qualifying tournament of FIBA Oceania for the 2004 Summer Olympics. Shane Heal
Shane Douglas Heal (born 6 September 1970) is an Australian basketball coach and former player. Playing career International Heal's international career highlights include representing the Australian Boomers at the 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympic Games, captaining the team in 2004 in Athens. Heal Also represented Australia at numerous FIBA World Championships. Many consider Heal's best international game came against the USA "Dream Team" in a warm up match for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Samuel Mackinnon (born 25 August 1976) is an Australian professional basketball coach and former player who is the general manager of basketball for the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League (NBL). His athleticism above the rim saw him become known as 'Slammin' Sam Mackinnon. Playing career Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Mackinnon's career began in 1994 with the South East Melbourne Magic when he won NBL Rookie of the Year. Matthew Peter Nielsen (born 3 February 1978) is an Australian professional basketball coach and former player who currently serves as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Tony Rampton (born 30 May 1976) is a New Zealand former professional basketball player. Early life and college Rampton was born in New Plymouth, New Zealand, and attended New Plymouth Boys' High School. Rampton left New Zealand as a rising 17-year-old talent to play two years of high school basketball in the United States. He attended Waseca High School in Waseca, Minnesota, before spending four years at Iowa State between 1995 and 1999, where he averaged 2.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 80 games. Mark Robert Dickel (born 21 December 1976) is a New Zealand-Australian former professional basketball player and coach. Early years Dickel attended Logan Park High School in Dunedin, New Zealand. In 1993, he joined the Otago Nuggets of the New Zealand National Basketball League and played there until 1996 when he left for college in the United States. In 1998 off-season, following the conclusion of his sophomore season, Dickel joined the Wellington Saints for the 1998 New Zealand NBL season.
