Group C of the EuroBasket 2013 took place between 4 and 9 September 2013. The group played all of its games at Zlatorog Arena in Celje, Slovenia. The group composed of Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Poland, Slovenia and Spain. The three best ranked teams advanced to the second round. EuroBasket 2013
EuroBasket 2013 was the 38th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. It took place from 4 September until 22 September 2013 in Slovenia. The number of participating teams was 24. France defeated Lithuania in the final to win their first title. Tony Parker was named the tournament's MVP. Host selection Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Slovenia brought forward a potential candidature for the FIBA EuroBasket. Countries which were interested in submitting a formal candidature had to do so by . On , it was announced that only two countries, Slovenia and Italy had submitted formal bids. On , Italy announced its withdrawal from the run. The Basketball Federation of Slovenia (BFS) thus remained the only candidate organizer. Marc Gasol
Marc Gasol Sáez (, ; born January 29, 1985) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Bàsquet Girona of the Liga ACB. The center is a two-time All-NBA Team member and a three-time NBA All-Star. He was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2013, and won an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors in 2019. Gasol was drafted 48th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA draft. George Tsintsadze
Giorgi Tsintsadze ( ka, გიორგი ცინცაძე) is a Georgian professional basketball player for BC TSU Tbilisi of the Georgian Superliga. Giorgi is native of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. He is also a member of the Georgian national basketball team since 2004. Professional career He has played for CSKA Moscow and Dynamo Moscow prior to transferring to Rock Tartu in Estonia. Ante Tomić (born 17 February 1987) is a Croatian professional basketball player who plays for Joventut Badalona of the Spanish Liga ACB.
