FIBA Diamond Ball
The FIBA Diamond Ball competition was an official international basketball tournament organised by FIBA,http://www.fiba.basketball/en/events FIBA´s official events by year held every Olympic year prior to the Summer Olympics. The first tournament was held in 2000, for men's teams only. In 2004 and 2008, tournaments were held for both men and women. The competing teams are the host country of that year's Summer Olympics, defending the FIBA Diamond Ball champions, the reigning FIBA World Cup, Summer Olympics, and continental champions, minus the United States men's team. The United States women's team did not participate in the 2004 event, although they were the then-reigning world champions. However, they did compete in the 2008 event, as the Americas champions. The tournament was not held in 2012 and 2016, and the tournament is not on FIBA's schedule for the next Olympic-year calendar, 2020 in Tokyo. The Belgrade Trophy ( Serbian: Трофеј Београда/Trofej Beograda) is an international basketball competition between national teams, which has been held annually since 2012 and takes place in Belgrade, Serbia each summer, before the big official FIBA tournaments, such as the FIBA EuroBasket, the FIBA World Cup, and the Summer Olympic Games. The tournament is organized by the Basketball Federation of Serbia. The competition is played under FIBA rules. All five editions of the tournament held so far have been won by Serbia, which has won all ten games it played, by an average margin of 24.8 points. The Jenaro "Tuto" Marchand Continental Championship Cup, or simply the Marchand Continental Cup, or Tuto Marchand Cup, is a warm-up friendly tournament for the FIBA Americas regional zone senior men's basketball championship, the FIBA Americas Championship. The tournament is often hosted by Puerto Rico. The tournament is named after Jenaro "Tuto" Marchand.
