French Judo Federation
French Judo Federation (, is the sports association that aims to promote the practice of Judo in France, Judo and related disciplines composed of jujitsu, kendo, iaïdo, sport chanbara, Jōdō, naginata, Kyūdō, sumo and taïso. Created on December 5, 1946 under the name of the French Judo and Jiu-Jitsu Federation (FFJJJ), its first president was Paul Bonet-Maury from 1946 to 1956. It was declared of public utility on August 2, 1991. It is currently the fourth French sports federation in terms of the number of members with about 592,000 members in 2011. As of May 29, 2009, the federation has 548,014 licensees distributed over 5,688 clubs. The largest club has more than 1,000 licensees (The Kodokan Club Courbevoie with 1019 licensed on May 29, 2009). The average number of licensees per club is about 96. The Federation has 34 regional leagues and 85 departmental committees. Judo

British Judo Association
The British Judo Association (BJA) is the governing body for the Olympic Sport of Judo in the United Kingdom. In 2019 there were 35,000 members. The BJA represents the United Kingdom internationally and is a member of the International Judo Federation, the European Judo Union, the Judo Confederation of the European Union, the British Olympic Association, the Central Council of Physical Recreation, and the Commonwealth Judo Association. It is recognised by the United Kingdom Sports Council, Sport England, Sport Wales, the Sports Council for Northern Ireland, Sport Scotland, and the British Olympic Association. Danzan-ryū
is a ryū of jujutsu founded by Seishiro Okazaki (1890–1951) in Hawaii. Danzan-ryū jujutsu is of mainly Japanese origin but is most common on the West coast of the United States. The Danzan-ryū syllabus is syncretic, and includes non-Japanese elements. History Seishiro Okazaki was born in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan in 1890. In 1906, he immigrated to the island of Hawaii. Soon after, he was afflicted with a pulmonary condition which may have been tuberculosis. During this time, young Okazaki began studying under a Yōshin-ryū jujutsu sensei by the name of Yoshimatsu Tanaka in Hilo, Hawaii. Okazaki assiduously pursued his studies under Tanaka and after some time found that his respiratory condition had gone into remission. Okazaki felt that the study of martial arts had played a large role in his physical recovery and as a result he decided to dedicate his life to the study and teaching of jujitsu and related disciplines. In its most general sense, the term "world" refers to the totality of entities, to the whole of reality or to everything that is. The nature of the world has been conceptualized differently in different fields. Some conceptions see the world as unique while others talk of a "plurality of worlds". Some treat the world as one simple object while others analyze the world as a complex made up of many parts. United States Judo Federation
The United States Judo Federation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting judo in the United States. Its national office is in Ontario, Oregon. History The United States Judo Federation was originally known as the Amateur Judo Association in 1952. In 1955 it was renamed Judo Black Belt Federation. As late as 1955, the JBBF was the only Judo federation in the United States. In 1967, it changed its name to the United States Judo Federation. In 1969, a faction of the Armed Forces Judo Association became the United States Judo Association. In 2007 sanctioned competitions and tournaments in at least nine different states. In contrast with USA Judo, Inc. (the USJI), which focuses on elite athletes and American participation in Olympic and international tournaments, USJF's focus is on "grassroots" judo. British Judo Council
The British Judo Council (BJC) is a membership organisation and a governing body for Judo in the United Kingdom. History In 1955 Kenshiro Abbe, then a 7th dan Japanese judoka and the highest ranked judoka outside Japan, was invited to Britain on a two year contract to teach Judo at the London Judo Society, a Judo School in South London. Abbe parted ways with the LJS in the following year and started his own school for Judo. He then in 1958 formed the British Judo Council, assisted by William (Bill) Wood his senior student, then a 3rd dan. The British Judo Council subsequently amalgamated with the MOSJ an organisation founded by Masutaro Otani, another high ranking Japanese judoka. Membership of the BJC grew rapidly through to the early 1960s. Abbe served as president until 1964 when he returned to Japan. Masutaro Otani, in turn, served as BJC president until his death in 1977.
