Triesen
Triesen () is the third largest of Liechtenstein's municipalities. It contains several historic churches dating from the fifteenth century. It also has a weaving mill from 1863 that is considered a historical monument. The population is around 5,275. Geography The municipality includes the highest point of Liechtenstein, the Grauspitz, at above sea level. It is located between Vaduz, Triesenberg and Balzers. History The settlements of Triesen, as the state archaeologists have found during excavations, were destroyed in natural disasters. The Liechtenstein Football Cup is Liechtenstein's premier football competition, and has been organised annually by the Liechtenstein Football Association (LFV) since 1946. The winner qualifies to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. As there is no national league in Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein Football Cup is the only national football competition in the country. The country has only seven clubs, all of which historically have already established themselves in the Swiss league competitions. As none of the teams play in the top Swiss flight at this time, the national cup competition is currently the only route for Liechtenstein to be represented at the European football club competitions. Raphael Rohrer
Raphael Rohrer (born 3 May 1985) is a former Liechtenstein footballer. Coaching career In the summer 2011, Rohrer was appointed player-head coach of FC Triesen. He was replaced in the summer 2016. He then joined FC Buchs as a player. In February 2018, he took charge of the team as a player-head coach. He left the club in the summer 2019. Liechtenstein Football Championship
The 1934 Liechtenstein Football Championship was the first as all Liechtenstein clubs were not only members of the Swiss FA but also of the cantonal Sankt Gallen federation, who had placed all Liechtenstein club in one regional group, whose winners were declared champions of Liechtenstein. The 1937 edition had only one participant (FC Triesen), so the championship was awarded without any matches being played.
