FC Torpedo-2 (russian: ФК «Торпедо-2») is a Russian association football, football team from Moscow, founded in 2022. It is a farm club for the Russian Premier League team FC Torpedo Moscow. History In the Russian championships in 1992–2000, the Torpedo-d team participated in the second and third leagues and the first two draws of the Russian Cup (football), Russian Cup. On January 26, 2022, the Board of Directors of FC Torpedo Moscow, Torpedo Moscow decided to revive the farm-club for its further participation in Russian Football National League 2. Dolgoprudny (russian: Долгопру́дный, ) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located about north of Moscow city center. The town's name is derived from Russian "" (''dolgy prud'', lit. "long pond")—a long and narrow pond situated in the northeastern part of the town. The town's name is sometimes colloquially shortened as ''Dolgopa''. FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', russian: Дина́мо Москва́ ) is a Russian football club based in Moscow. Dynamo returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2017–18 season after one season in the second-tier Russian Football National League. Dynamo was the only club that had always played in the top tier of Soviet football (along with Dynamo Kyiv) and of Russian football from the end of the Soviet era until they were relegated in 2016. Despite this, they have never won the modern Russian Premier League title and have won Russian Cup only once, in the season of 1994–95. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities.
