FC Sokol Kazan (russian: «Сокол» (Казань)) is a Russian association football, football team from Kazan. The club was established in 2018. On 19 February 2024, the club was licensed for the Russian Second League Division B. It was assigned to Group 4. In July 2024, the club was put up for sale through a Classified advertising, classified advertisement on Avito.ru, Avito website as their sponsor decided not to finance the club anymore. Sergey Viktorovich Ryzhikov (russian: Сергей Викторович Рыжиков; born 19 September 1980) is a Russian Association football, football coach and a former Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He is the manager of FC Spartak Tambov, Spartak Tambov. Club career On 22 November 2007 it was announced Ryzhikov was moving to FC Rubin Kazan. He left Rubin after 10 seasons at the club on 15 May 2018, after losing his starting spot in the season to Soslan Dzhanayev. On 1 August 2018, Ryzhikov signed a 2-year contract with PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara. After his contract with Krylia Sovetov expired, Ryzhikov signed a one-year contract with FC Tambov, Tambov on 3 August 2020. On 9 March 2021, he left Tambov due to non-payment of wages.
