FC Shakhtar Sverdlovsk
Shakhtar Sverdlovsk ( ua, Шахтар Свердловськ) was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Luhansk oblast's Sverdlovsk city (Dovzhansk). The club competed in the Ukrainian Second League but was suspended after the 2013–14 amid the Russian aggression against Ukraine. The club holds a record in number of seasons (23) in which the club was fielding its team/teams in national (republican) amateur competitions (Ukrainian Amateur Football Championship). History Shakhtar Sverdlovsk was founded in 1939. The club represents State Mining Company "Sverdlovantratsyt" (Sverdlov Anthracite). After Ukrainian independence, the club competed in the Luhansk Oblast football competition. They performed well and decided to enter the professional ranks in 1995. This proved disastrous as the harsh economic conditions of the time took a toll and the club's administration decided that in the best interests of the club that they return to competing in the oblast league. 1994–95 Ukrainian Football Amateur League
1994–95 Amateur championship of Ukraine was the third amateur championship of Ukraine and the 31st since the establishment of championship among fitness clubs (KFK) in 1964. The format of competitions was preserved as in the Soviet competitions where there was six independent groups split by regional principal. A record of 91 teams participated in competitions. The 1993–94 Football championship of Ukraine among amateurs was the second season of the nationwide amateur competitions in the independent Ukraine and was known as the football competitions of fitness collectives or KFK for short. The tournament was conducted under auspices of the Football Federation of Ukraine before creation of the Ukrainian Football Amateur Association. The 1992–93 Football championship of Ukraine among amateurs was the first season of the nationwide amateur competitions in the independent Ukraine and was known as the football competitions of fitness collectives or KFK for short. The tournament was conducted under auspices of the Football Federation of Ukraine before creation of the Ukrainian Football Amateur Association. Unlike the professional football competitions that started in late February 1992 changing to fall-spring calendar, the amateur competitions started somewhat late due to the same shift in competitions. Beside that factor the format, provided by the Football Federation of Ukrainian SSR, was left unchanged leaving all six groups that were divided by regional principal. It was 27th season of the KFK in Ukraine since its introduction in 1964 and the last season of the Soviet football competitions.
