Septemvri Tervel is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Tervel. It plays its home matches at Septemvri stadium with a capacity of 700 seats, and its team colours are orange and white. The team currently plays in the Bulgarian North-East Third League. Septemvri Stadium was renovated in 2009 and now it holds 700 spectators. History Septemvri was founded in 1998. It played in Regional league until 2008, when it promoted to North-East Third League. In December 2023, Georgi Ivanov was announced as the new manager of the team as part of the plan for the team, to win a promote to the Second League. Septemvri ( bg, Септември, , ) is a town in Pazardzhik Province, Southern Bulgaria, located at the western end of the Upper Thracian Lowland, away to the west from the city of Pazardzhik. It is the administrative centre of homonymous Septemvri Municipality. As of December 2009, the town has a population of 8,422 inhabitants. History Four Thracian mounds and traces of two ancient cities - Greek Pistiros and a Roman town that lies on ''Trayan's Drum'' were discovered near the town. It has succeeded as an old Bulgarian settlement, which was destroyed in the late 14th century during the Ottoman onslaught. The town was rebuilt at the end of the 15th century under the Turkish name of ''Sara Khan bey'', and carried this name until 1949. Septemvri developed into a typical railway town following the construction of the Haskovo– Belovo railway line in 1873. The Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League ( bg, Трета аматьорска футболна лига, Treta Amat'orska Futbolna Liga), commonly referred to as Third League ( bg, Трета лига) or Treta liga, is the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. Third League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second and the fourth tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid – respectively being Second League and the A Oblast Groups. Rumen Nikolov ( bg, Румен Николов; born 5 February 1990) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a forward for Aksakovo and coach at Asparuhovo academy, where he is one of the establishers. Career In November 2009 Cherno More's manager Velizar Popov selected Nikolov for the main squad, and on 28 March 2010 he made his debut in the A PFG at the age of 20 against Minyor Pernik. Vladislav Mirchev
Vladislav Mirchev ( bg, Владислав Мирчев; born 23 January 1987) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays for Septemvri Tervel as a forward. Career Born in Varna, Mirchev was a product of the Spartak Varna system. In June 2004, he was moved from the youth squad to the first team. Mirchev made his debut during the 2004–05 season in A PFG, on 13 August 2004 against PFC Rodopa Smolyan. The club was relegated to B PFG at the end of the season. He scored his first goal for Spartak in their 2–0 victory over Maritsa Plovdiv on 10 September 2005. Mirchev helped the club to promotion to A PFG in 2006. In May 2006 Mirchev eventually signed a one-year loan deal with Chernomorets Burgas, making his debut in an away draw against Dunav Ruse on 30 September 2006.
