FC SKA-Orbita Lviv
FC SKA-Orbita Lviv was a Ukrainian football club from Lviv, Lviv Oblast. Oleksandr Svishchov was the club's president. The club did not play at any single elimination tournaments (cup competitions) at national level (amateur or professional). During its professional period, SKA-Orbita played its home games at SKA Stadium. Overview The club was created in 2000 by a former Soviet and later Ukrainian football functionary Anatoliy Tyshchenko at that time when there were discussions for the merger of FC Lviv with FC Karpaty Lviv. The club was created in 2000 to replace struggling Naftovyk Boryslav that on accident qualified to second stage. Naftovyk-SKA also included players from Dynamo-Orbita Kamianets-Podilskyi which was composed of players from Nyva Dunaivtsi. FC Mykolaiv is a football club based in Mykolaiv, Lvivska Oblast, Ukraine. Overview The club was originally called Tsementnyk-Khorda Mykolaiv and was supported by the cement factory in the town. ''Tsementnyk-Khorda'' performed well at the Amateur Level in the 1996/97 season and finished Runners up in the competition. This was an entry criterion to the professional leagues and the following season the club entered the Druha Liha. Ukrainian Football Amateur League 2001 was the sixth season of the national amateur football competition in Ukraine since their reorganization in 1997. Overview and format This season competition consisted of four stages with 35 teams participating. First two stages were organized in regional principal in groups of four or five and were played in two rounds where each team could play another at its home ground. The semifinals and finals, on the other hand, were played in one round. During the season several teams withdrew, while others successfully applied for a professional status. On the first stage each group winners and their immediate runners-up were to advance to the next part of the competition. Due to few teams joining the professional competition the format was adjusted and to the second stage only eleven teams advanced. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). Past variations of the competition involved a home-away type of elimination, but the Ukrainian Cup has since changed to a single game per round format. Rava Rava-Ruska was an amateur football team based in Rava Ruska, Lviv Oblast in Ukraine near the border with Poland. History Rava-Ruska performed well in the amateurs in 2002, winning the Memorial Ernest Yusta Cup in 2003 and entered the professional league in 2003/04 in the Druha Liha. They immediately proved their intent finishing 3rd. The next season they captured the Druha Liha A championships but were not promoted due to their facilities and financial standings being not at the level of acceptance by the PFL. The club played one more season in the professional leagues and then after the 2005/2006 season, the club's administration elected to leave the PFL. In 2007 a new club Lokomotyv Rava-Ruska was created that competed in the regional competitions of Lviv Oblast and also performed in some national amateur competitions and reached the semi-finals of the Amateur Cup in 2007. FC Enerhetyk Burshtyn was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. History The club was formed in 1948 and was previously called ''Kolhospnyk'' (Collective] farmer), ''Avanhard'' (Vanguard) and ''Henerator'' (Generator). The club played in the Ivano-Frankivs'k oblast league and in the 1990s and after steadily improving they won the Oblast Championship in 1998.
