FC Ljubljana was a Slovenian football club, based in the capital city of Ljubljana. It was founded in June 2005. The club regarded themselves as the spiritual continuation of NK Ljubljana, a club that went bankrupt and was abolished in 2005. FC Ljubljana folded and was dissolved in 2011. Nogometni klub Ljubljana ( en, Ljubljana Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Ljubljana or simply Ljubljana, was a Slovenian football club based in the capital city of Ljubljana. The club was established in 1909 and dissolved in 2005. History Foundation The club was founded in 1909 as students club Hermes and was one of the oldest football clubs in Slovenia. The club was reformed in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia as SK Hermes in late 1918 and played in the Ljubljana Subassociation League from 1920 on, scoring best result with fourth place on four occasions. The Slovenian Regional Leagues ( sl, Slovenske regionalne lige) are the fourth tier leagues in the Slovenian football system. They are alternately operated by the participating clubs' Intercommunal Football Associations ( sl, Medobčinske nogometne zveze – MNZ). The winners are promoted to the Slovenian Third League. The Slovenian PrvaLiga ( sl, Prva slovenska nogometna liga, ), currently named Prva liga Telemach due to sponsorship reasons, also known by the abbreviation 1. The Šiška District (; sl, Četrtna skupnost Šiška), or simply Šiška (), is the most populous district (Slovenia), district () of the City Municipality of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is named after the former villages of Spodnja Šiška and Zgornja Šiška. The Slovenian Third Football League ( sl, Tretja slovenska nogometna liga or commonly 3. SNL) is the third tier of the Football in Slovenia, Slovenian football system. Since 2019 the league consists of two regional groups (East and West). They are operated by the Intercommunal Football Associations. NK Svoboda Ljubljana
Nogometni klub Svoboda Ljubljana ( en, Svoboda Ljubljana Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Svoboda Ljubljana or simply Svoboda, is a Slovenian football club from Ljubljana which plays in the Slovenian Third League. History The club was formed as ŠD Svoboda in 1952 and was known as one of the best Slovenian clubs during the time of SFR Yugoslavia.
