SC Prometei Dniprodzerzhynsk was a Soviet football club from Dniprodzerzhynsk, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The club was founded in 1947 and participated in the Soviet competition until 1970. History The club was founded in 1947 as Traktor Dniprodzerzhynsk under the patronage of a secretive Soviet Factory of Slag Fertilizers, a part of the Soviet Defense Industry Complex. The club entered regional competitions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in 1951. In 1952 Traktor entered the republican stage and after being promoted to upper league changed its name to Khimik. From 1957 to 1970 the club competed in the Soviet Class B championship (analogous with a third level of league system). In 1962 Khimik changed its name to Dnieprovets and in 1967 - to Prometei. In 1970 the extra funding for the club from the city authorities ended and the club withdrew from the professional ranks. Kamianske ( uk, Кам'янське, ), formerly Dniprodzerzhynsk, is an industrial city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of Ukraine and a port on the Dnieper. Administratively, it serves as the administrative center of Kamianske Raion. Kamianske hosts the administration of Kamianske urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: The city was known as Dniprodzerzhynsk from 1936 to 2016. On 19 May 2016, it was renamed back to its historical name of Kamianske. Along with the city's name change, the city's hydroelectric station was renamed to Middle Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Plant. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). FC Prometei Dniprodzerzhynsk was a Ukrainian football club from Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The club founded in 1991. In 1947–70 there was another city club SC Prometei Dniprodzerzhynsk. The club was founded in March 1991 by the city authorities and the Kamianske Industrial Institute. The club was based on the youth team "Burevisnyk" of the city sports school. The new club replaced another Kamianske club "Radyst". After few seasons in the Ukrainian competitions the club went bankrupt and folded in 1996. FC Stal Kamianske ( uk, Сталь Кам'янське) was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. After being relegated to the Ukrainian First League after the 2017–18 Ukrainian Premier League season, the club re-registered to Bucha and changed its name to PFC Feniks Bucha in June 2018.
