FC Inter-Montréal
FC Inter-Montréal was a Canadian professional soccer team in Montreal, Quebec that competed in the original Canadian Professional Soccer League in 1983. History On December 7, 1982, the Canadian Professional Soccer League announced their initial five ownership groups, of which one was to be headed by Bob Laker in Montreal. On February 7, 1983, the Montreal Manic of the North American Soccer League had decided to transform themselves into a "Team Canada" farm team by the 1984 season. In doing so, they began to get rid of the majority of their non-Canadian players to field a primarily Canadian lineup. This had the effect of alienating their primarily Italian fanbase, resulting in attendance dropping 66%. Giuseppe Wilson (, born Joseph Wilson, 27 October 1945 – 6 March 2022), also known as Pino Wilson, was an Italian footballer who played as a centre back. Although born in Northern England, he played the majority of his football career in Italy. Gerry Morielli is a retired Italian-Canadian soccer player who played professionally in the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League. In 1978, Morielli signed with the Houston Hurricane of the North American Soccer League. He would play three seasons with the Hurricane. Tasso Koutsoukos (born April 4, 195is a retired Canadian soccer player who played professionally in the North American Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and Canadian Soccer League. He also coached in the Montreal Impact in the National Professional Soccer League. Player Koutsoukos played collegiate soccer at UMass Amherst from 1977 to 1979. He was a 1977 Honorable Mention (third team) All American. In 1980, the Chicago Sting selected Koutsoukos in the North American Soccer League draft. He played two outdoor and two indoor seasons with the Sting. In 1982, he began the season with Chicago. On June 13, 1982, the Sting traded Koutsoukos to the Tulsa Roughnecks in exchange for Tim Twellman and John Tyma. Radojko "Raddy" Avramović ( sr-Cyrl, Радојко Аврамовић; born 29 November 1949) is a Serbian retired football coach and player. A goalkeeper, Avramović most notably played for Croatian club Rijeka and English club Notts County as well as internationally for Yugoslavia.
