FC Enerhiya Mykolaiv
SC Enerhiya Mykolaiv was a Ukrainian professional football club based in Mykolaiv. The club competed for one season ''( 2013–14)'' and withdrew from the PFL. History In 2011, at the initiative of the Director General of the regional energy company ''Mykolaivoblenerho'' Yuriy Antoshenko it was decided to hold the "Day of Energy" mini-football tournament for all branches of the company. The internal football championship was held on 3 December 2011. The tournament attracted the participation of 22 teams of its various units. After the final match, Yuriy Antoshenko told reporters that within ''Mykolaivoblenerho'' a football team will be created that will take part in regional competitions. The club's first match was on 25 December 2011 when they participated in Mykolaiv oblast winter championship with a landslide victory with a 4–0 victory over rivals Torpedo-95 Mykolaiv. Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast
Pervomaisk ( uk, Первомайськ, , ; russian: Первомайск) is a landlocked city in Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine and the administrative center of the Pervomaisk Raion. It is located on the Southern Bug river which bisects the city. Pervomaisk hosts the administration of Pervomaisk urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: In 2001, population was 70,170. The city is known for being a center (headquarters) of the Soviet Strategic Rocket Forces during the Soviet period. Until 18 July 2020, Pervomaisk was incorporated as a city of oblast significance. It also served as the administrative center of Pervomaisk Raion even though it did not belong to the raion. In July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Mykolaiv Oblast to four, the city of Pervomaisk was merged into Pervomaisk Raion. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). Past variations of the competition involved a home-away type of elimination, but the Ukrainian Cup has since changed to a single game per round format. The Association of Amateur Football of Ukraine ( uk, Асоціація аматорського футболу України, AAFU) is a sports organization that administers national competitions of association football among amateur and children teams. AAFU is a collective member of the Football Federation of Ukraine. It was established 2 March 1998 and under the association agreement between the Football Federation of Ukraine and the Association, it is authorized to organize the All-Ukrainian National Football Championship and Cup tournaments amongst amateur football teams. Mykolaiv Oblast ( uk, Микола́ївська о́бласть, translit=Mykoláyivsʹka óblastʹ, ), also referred to as Mykolaivshchyna ( uk, Микола́ївщина, Mykoláivshchyna, ) is an oblast (province) of Ukraine. The administrative center of the oblast is the city of Mykolaiv. At the most recent estimate, the population of the oblast stood at . History During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army invaded the province from Kherson Oblast, attacking as far northwest as Voznesensk. However, at Voznesensk, the Russian forces were repulsed, and the attempt to take Mykolaiv also ended in failure.
