Bucha ( uk, Буча, ) is a city in Ukraine's Kyiv Oblast. Administratively, it serves as the administrative center of Bucha Raion. It hosts the administration of Bucha urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Its population is approximately . Bucha Day is celebrated in the city between 11 and 13 September. The Battle of Bucha was part of the Kyiv offensive in the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. The battle lasted from 27 February 2022 to 31 March 2022 and ended with the withdrawal of Russian forces. Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk reported that Bucha had been fully retaken from Russian forces as of 31 March. After Ukrainian forces regained control of Bucha, reports and testimonies of war crimes committed by the Russian military began to circulate. 2012–13 Ukrainian Cup
The 2012–13 Ukrainian Cup was the 22nd annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The Cup began with two preliminary rounds, before the first round proper involving the Premier League clubs. The draw for both the preliminary rounds was held on 5 July 2012. The First Preliminary Round consisting of teams from Druha Liha and Amateur Cup finalists. In the Second Preliminary Round teams of the Persha Liha entered the competition. Sixteen teams, the winners of the 2nd preliminary round, entered the First Round proper or the Round of 32 where the Premier League teams entered the competition for the first time. Ukrainian Amateur Cup
The Ukrainian Amateur Cup ( uk, Кубок України з футболу серед аматорських команд) or AAFU Cup ( uk, Кубок ААФУ) is a national cup competition in Ukraine for amateur clubs. The nationwide competition among amateur teams in cup format (Olympic system) was revived in the 1996–97 season and since 2008 the winner receives the right to progress to the Ukrainian Cup which serves professional clubs. Format The Cup is intended to be organised between the Cup holders of the regional tournaments, but in reality it is an optional invitational tournament among teams that are delegated by selected regions (oblasts of Ukraine and autonomous republic of Crimea).
