FC Arizona
FC Arizona is an American soccer team based in the Phoenix area that plays in the National Premier Soccer League. History FC Arizona announced its formation on July 19, 2016, with a press release. The team held a launch party on August 5, 2016, at Mesa Community College, where the team will play its home games. They joined the NPSL on September 22, 2016, and were placed in the Southwest Conference. The team colors are Blue and Gold. 2017 FC Arizona defeated Real San Jose 5–0 in their first ever match on March 4, 2017, before an announced crowd of 2,842 at Riggs Stadium in Mesa, Arizona. With team manager Aidan Davison, and former MLS keeper Andrew Weber in goal, the team then went on to have an undefeated regular season allowing only 3 goals and earning them the Western Conference Championship title. National Premier Soccer League
The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The NPSL is a semi-professional league, comprising some teams that have paid players and some that are entirely amateur. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. It is the successor of the Men's Premier Soccer League, a regional league originally based in the Western United States, which has now expanded nationwide to encompass teams from 29 states. Mesa Community College
Mesa Community College (MCC) is a public community college in Mesa, Arizona. It is the largest of the 10 community colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District, the largest community college district in the United States in terms of enrollment. History MCC was launched by Mart Godinez in 1963 as an extension branch of Phoenix College and was located at 809 W. Main Street in Mesa. Real San Jose is an American soccer team based in San Jose, California, United States. Founded in 2007, the team competes in the National Soccer League (NSL).
