F. Van Dixhoorn
François Henricus Anthonie van Dixhoorn (born 17 June 1948) is a Dutch poet. Career Van Dixhoorn made his debut with the poetry collection ''Jaagpad / Rust in de tent / Zwaluwen vooruit'' in 1994. He won the C. Buddingh'-prijs for this debut. He was nominated for the Ida Gerhardt Poëzieprijs in 2008 for his work ''Twee piepjes'' (2007). For his work ''De zon in de pan'' (2012) he was nominated for the VSB Poëzieprijs. Awards * 1994: C. The Ida Gerhardt Poëzieprijs (Dutch for Ida Gerhardt Poetry Prize) is a Dutch poetry award named after classicist and poet Ida Gerhardt. The award was created by the municipal council of the city of Zutphen and is now awarded by the Stichting Ida Gerhardt Prijs. The award was created in 1998 and first awarded in 2000. VSB Poetry Prize
The VSB Poetry Prize ( nl, VSB Poëzieprijs) is the most important Dutch language poetry prize. It was awarded annually to a Dutch-language poet from 1994 until 2018. The prize winner was announced on the day before Poetry Day in the Netherlands, the last Thursday in January. It is funded by the VSB cultural fund, which was established by the Dutch bank Verenigde Spaarbank. The award was initiated through the efforts of Huub Oosterhuis. The Nederlands Letterenfonds ("Dutch Foundation for Literature") is a Dutch organization that promotes Dutch literature at home and abroad. Poetry International Web is an international webzine and a poetry archive put together by a collective body of editors around the world and centrally edited in Rotterdam. It was originally launched in 2002. The site presents poetry from many countries in their original languages and in English translation. The website also publishes journalistic contributions such as essays and interviews on poets and poetry and provides annual media coverage of the Poetry International festival in Rotterdam. It also features audio and video recordings of the poets reading their own work. Digital Library For Dutch Literature
The Digital Library for Dutch Literature (Dutch: Digitale Bibliotheek voor de Nederlandse Letteren or DBNL) is a website (showing the abbreviation as dbnl) about Dutch language and Dutch literature. It contains thousands of literary texts, secondary literature and additional information, like biographies, portrayals etcetera, and hyperlinks. The DBNL is an initiative by the DBNL foundation that was founded in 1999 by the Society of Dutch Literature (Dutch: Maatschappij der Nederlandse Letterkunde). Building of the DNBL was made possible by donations, among others, from the Dutch Organization for Scientific Research (Dutch: Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek or NWO) and the Nederlandse Taalunie. From 2008 to 2012, the editor was René van Stipriaan. The work is done by eight people in Leiden (as of 2013: The Hague), 20 students, and 50 people in the Philippines who scan and type the texts.
