F. L. Schlagle High School is a fully accredited, public high school located in Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It serves students in grades 9 to 12 and is operated by the Kansas City USD 500 school district. The principal is Yolanda Thompson. The school was named after Frank Leslie Schlagle, the former superintendent of schools of the Kansas City, Kansas School District (1932–1962). Kansas City T-Bones
The Kansas City Monarchs are a professional baseball team based in Kansas City, Kansas. Formerly known as the Kansas City T-Bones, they are members of the American Association of Professional Baseball; which, in 2020, became designated as a Major League Baseball partner league. They have played their home games at Legends Field (formerly CommunityAmerica Ballpark) since 2003, when the team began as a member of the Northern League. Damian Michael Rolls (born September 15, 1977) is a former Major League Baseball player. He was the hitting coach for the Kansas City T-Bones. Rolls was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers as the 23rd pick in the 1st round in 1996, but was claimed by the Kansas City Royals in the Rule 5 draft and immediately traded to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Maurice Greene (born July 23, 1974) is an American former track and field sprinter who competed in the 60 meters, 100 meters, and 200 meters. He is a former 100 m world record holder with a time of 9.79 seconds. During the height of his career (1997–2004) he won four Olympic medals and was a five-time World Champion. The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. They are a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). they are led by head coach Bryce Drew and play their home games at the GCU Arena.
