The club would not reach another final until 2007 when this time they were defeated by Atlético Cihuatlan. The Estadio Carlos Iturralde is a multi-use stadium in the Mexico, Mexican city of Mérida, Yucatán. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches and is the home stadium of Venados F.C., Venados. The stadium holds 15,087 people. Mérida () is the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán, and the largest city in southeastern Mexico. The city is also the seat of the eponymous Municipality. The ancient Maya civilization was formed by members of this group, and today's Maya are generally descended from people who lived within that historical region. Today they inhabit southern Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, and Honduras.
