"Expander" is a 1994 song by British electronic music group The Future Sound of London, taken from their 1992 album, ''Accelerator (The Future Sound of London album), Accelerator''. The single was released along with a remixed version and two other songs: "Moscow" and "Central Industrial". ''Accelerator'' was subsequently re-released in the US in 1996. They have been described as a "boundary-pushing" electronic act, covering techno, ambient, house music, trip hop, psychedelia, and dub. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. ''Accelerator'' is the debut studio album by British electronic group the Future Sound of London. It was released in April 1992 by the record label Jumpin' & Pumpin'. It includes the hit single "Papua New Guinea". Release ''Accelerator'' was released in the United Kingdom in 1992 by Jumpin' & Pumpin'. Following the commercial success of the single "Papua New Guinea", the album was re-released a year later with two additional remixes. Due to record label difficulties, it could not be released in the United States until 1996, where it contained a further remix. It was re-released, enhanced, in 2001 worldwide, with a bonus CD entitled ''Papua New Guinea Remix Anthology'', which contained both old and new remixes of "Papua New Guinea", several of which had already been released on previous singles by the group. Lifeforms (single)
"Lifeforms" is a song by British electronic music group The Future Sound of London, released as the second single from their 1994 album, '' Lifeforms''. Vocals on the single were performed by Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins. The original version of "Lifeforms" from the album of the same name is present as "Path 3", while the album track "Life Form Ends" from the album can be heard in somewhat remixed form as "Path 5". A 2:50 edit of "Path 4" was used as a radio edit and for the promotional video for the single. It is this version that appears on the commercial compilation album The Best... Album in the World...Ever! (vol 1). In 1995, Fraser called the collaboration "disappointing".
