The 2013 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXVII Summer Universiade (russian: XXVII Летняя Универсиада), was held in the city of Kazan, Russia, the most northerly city ever to host a Summer Universiade. Marta Jeschke (born 2 June 1986 in Wejherowo) is a Polish sprinter who specializes in the 200 metres. Her personal best time is 23.19 seconds, achieved in June 2008 in Rostock. She has best of 11.33 seconds in the 100 metres, which she set in Kraków in 2011. Jeschke represented Poland at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. In the 200 m she did not qualify from her heat. Daria Onyśko-Korczyńska (born 30 July 1981 in Kołobrzeg) is a retired track and field sprint athlete who competed internationally for Poland. She finished eighth in the 100 metres final at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg, and ninth one month later at the 2006 IAAF World Cup. She won the bronze medal in 60 metres at the 2007 European Indoor Championships. Korczynska represented Poland at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
