Everchanger
''Everchanger'' is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Invent Animate. The album was released on August 22, 2014, through Tragic Hero Records. It was produced by Brian Hood ( Being as an Ocean, Gideon, The Crimson Armada) and Jesse Cash of Erra. The album is also the only and last to feature guitarist Logan Forrest before his departure from the band in late 2015. Promotion and release The band filmed a music video for "Nocturne: Lost Faith" that was released on July 22, 2014. Invent Animate
Invent Animate (previously stylized as Invent, Animate) is an American progressive metalcore band from Port Neches, Texas. The band formed in late 2011 and self-released their debut EP titled ''Waves'' on March 13, 2012. After a number of regional tours and increasing popularity in the online djent community, the band was signed up by Tragic Hero Records in February 2014. The band announced they would release their debut full-length record titled '' Everchanger'' on August 26, 2014. Their sophomore album ''Stillworld'' was released on July 8, 2016. Their third album and first with Marcus Vik, ''Greyview'', was released on March 13, 2020. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Vocalists in the genre typically use thrash or scream vocals. Some later metalcore bands combine this with clean singing, often during the chorus. Brian Hood
Brian David Hood (born November 16, 1986) is an American record producer and owner of 456 Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the former and original drummer of Solid State Records band MyChildren MyBride. Gideon is an American metalcore band formed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 2008. The group are currently signed to Equal Vision Records, having formerly been with Facedown Records and Strike First Records. They have released a total of five studio albums and two EPs. The Crimson Armada
The Crimson Armada was an American metalcore band formed in Westerville, Ohio in 2007 by Kyle Barrington and David Puckett. Following a one-year hiatus in 2008, the band returned to increased popularity, releasing its first EP, ''Behold the Architect''. Following the release of ''Behold the Architect'', the Crimson Armada signed a record deal with Metal Blade Records. In July 2009, the band released its debut album, ''Guardians''.
