Even Hammer Holmboe (18 November 1792 – 23 December 1859) was a Norwegian politician. Personal life He was born in Trondenes as the son of bailiff Jens Holmboe (bailiff), Jens Holmboe (1752–1804) and his wife Anna Margrethe Irgens (1766–1851). Trondenes
Trondenes is an old parish and former municipality in Troms county in Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. It was located along the western shore of the Vågsfjorden in what is now Harstad Municipality. Trondenes included the majority of the island of Grytøya and part of the eastern coast of the island of Hinnøya as well as some smaller islands. Located just north of the town of Harstad, the village of Trondenes was the administrative centre of the municipality. That village is also the site of the historic Trondenes Church, the northernmost medieval stone church in Norway. The Trondenes Historical Center was built in 1997 near the church to teach about the history of the area. Trondenes Fort is also located on the Trondenes peninsula. Jens Holmboe (politician)
Jens Holmboe (14 July 1821 – 13 July 1891) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party. A jurist by education, he was a member of the Storting, Norwegian Parliament for five terms, and held several different government posts from 1874 to 1884. Personal life He was born in Tromsøe as the son of Michael Wide Holmboe (1791–1863) and his wife Anna Rasch Schjelderup (1794–1878). He had several brothers and sisters, including businessman Conrad Holmboe, Hans Conrad Holmboe. His grandfather Jens Holmboe (bailiff), of the same name was a bailiff, and his uncles Even Hammer Holmboe and Hans Holmboe and Leonhard Christian Borchgrevink Holmboe became involved in politics. Lofoten
Lofoten () is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. Finnmark

Troms
Troms (; se, Romsa; fkv, Tromssa; fi, Tromssa) is a former county in northern Norway. On 1 January 2020 it was merged with the neighboring Finnmark county to create the new Troms og Finnmark county. This merger is expected to be reversed by the government resulting from the 2021 Norwegian parliamentary election. It bordered Finnmark county to the northeast and Nordland county in the southwest.
