European Union Military Assistance Mission Ukraine
The European Union Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine) is the European Union's (EU) first-ever military assistance mission for Ukraine set up on 17 October 2022. The decision to establish EUMAM was made by the Council of the European Union in response to Ukraine's request for military support during the ongoing 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russian invasion of the country. The primary aim of the mission is to provide training to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the territory of the EU member states. List Of Foreign Aid To Ukraine During The Russo-Ukrainian War
This is a list of known foreign aid, including military aid, humanitarian aid and financial aid, that has and will be provided to Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian War. The United States has by far provided the most military assistance to Ukraine, more than every other country combined. Many NATO allies, such as Germany and Sweden, have reversed past policies against providing offensive military aid in order to support Ukraine, while the European Union for the first time in its history supplied lethal arms through its institutions. The Kiel Institute has tracked €93.8 billion from 40 countries in financial, humanitarian, and military aid to Ukraine, from 24 January to 3 October 2022. Territorial Defense Forces (Ukraine)
The Territorial Defence Forces ( uk, Війська територіальної оборони, translit=Viiska terytorialnoi oborony) are the military reserve component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Territorial Defence Forces were formed after the reorganization of the Territorial Defence Battalions, volunteer militias created during the War in Donbas under the command of the Ministry of Defence. Territorial Defence units existed from 2015 until 2021 in semi-organized forms until 2022 when they were formally organized into a unified defense corps under the Territorial Defence Forces. It is formed by a core of part-time reservists, usually former combat veterans, and in cases of war can be expanded to local civilian volunteers for local defense, in a case of mass mobilization. Ukraine Defense Contact Group
The Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG, also known as the Ramstein group) is an alliance of 54 countries (all 31 member states of NATO and 23 other countries) supporting the defence of Ukraine by sending military equipment in response to the 2022 Russian invasion. The group coordinates the ongoing donation of military aid at monthly meetings. A first meeting took place between 41 countries on 26 April 2022, and the coalition comprised 54 countries (as of the 14 February 2023 meeting). Operation Unifier
Operation UNIFIER is the Canadian Armed Forces mission to bolster the capabilities of the Security Forces of Ukraine through the provision of critical military training. It was stood up in response to requests from the Government of Ukraine in light of fomentation by separatist sentiments in the Donetsk and Luhansk and Crimean regions of Ukraine after the 2014 Ukrainian revolution and the 2014 pro-Russian unrest in Ukraine. Operation Interflex is the operational code name for the British-led multinational military operation to train and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is a successor to Operation Orbital (2015–2022) and began in July 2022.
