European Federalist Free Entrepreneurs
The European Federalist Free Entrepreneurs – Entrepreneurs' Trade Union (''Liberi Imprenditori Federalisti Europei – Sindacato Imprenditori'', LIFE) is an association of entrepreneurs based in Veneto, one of the regions of Italy. The LIFE aims at representing and defending the interests of small and medium-sized businesses (which are under-represented in big-business dominated Confindustria, Italian employers' federation), and takes a Libertarianism, libertarian stance against big government, red tape, high taxation and monopoly, monopolies. Its current leader is Lucio Chiavegato, who replaced Fabio Padovan in May 2013. Veneto State
Veneto State (''Veneto Stato'', VS) was a Venetist political party active in Veneto and eastern Lombardy. The party's goal to achieve full political independence for the former territories of the Venetian Republic from Italy through a referendum. VS had a handful of municipal councillors and was once represented in the Regional Council of Veneto. After the exit of the libertarian faction led by Lodovico Pizzati, Paolo Bernardini and Gianluca Busato in December 2011 and the formation of Venetian Independence in May 2012, VS was seen as the communitarian wing of the Venetian independence movement. North-East Project
North-East Project ( it, Progetto NordEst, PNE) is a Venetist, fiscal federalist and libertarian Italian political party based in Veneto, demanding larger autonomy, if not complete independence for the region. History The party was founded in June 2004 by Giorgio Panto, along with former members of the Liga Veneta– Lega Nord (LV–LN) and former members of Liga Fronte Veneto, notably Mariangelo Foggiato and Ettore Beggiato. Panto himself had been a long-time supporter of Lega Nord, but he distanced from it as he perceived it to be too moderate and Lombardy-centred. The PNE won 5.4% of the vote in the 2005 regional election, electing Foggiato and Diego Cancian to the Regional Council of Veneto, while Panto, who was candidate for President and ran a campaign based on the slogan "Dignity. Giorgio Panto
Giorgio Panto (1 October 1941 – 26 November 2006) was an Italian entrepreneur and politician. Panto was born at Meolo, in the Province of Venice. After being a long-time supporter of the Liga Veneta–Lega Nord, in 2004 he founded a new Venetist and fiscal federalist party called North-East Project (''Progetto NordEst'', PNE), in which he welcomed many former ''Leghisti'' as Ettore Beggiato, Mariangelo Foggiato and Diego Cancian. It was not the first time that Panto run for the post of President of the Region: in fact, in the 1995 regional election Panto won 3.7%, under the banner of New Italy and Lega Autonomia Veneta. Liga Veneta Repubblica (''Łiga Vèneta Republica'', Venetian Republic League, LVR) is a Venetist political party in Veneto, Italy. The party maintains a mildly separatist position and campaigns for the self-government of Veneto. The party's founder and long-time leader is Fabrizio Comencini. The LVR emerged in 1998 as a split from Liga Veneta (LV), the "national section" of Lega Nord in Veneto. The Marco Polo Front ( it, Fronte Marco Polo, FMP) was an autonomist and Venetist political party active in Veneto, named after explorer Marco Polo. Fabio Padovan, leader of the European Federalist Free Entrepreneurs (LIFE) and former deputy of Liga Veneta– Lega Nord, and Giorgio Vido, another former deputy of LV–LN, formed FMP in 1999 in view of the 2000 regional election. Lega Nord (; acronym: LN), whose complete name is (), is a right-wing, federalist, populist and conservative political party in Italy. In the run-up of the 2018 general election, the party was rebranded as (), without changing its official name. The party was nonetheless frequently referred to only as "Lega" even before the rebranding, and informally as the (). The party's latest elected leader was Matteo Salvini. Liga Veneta ( vec, Łiga Vèneta; en, Venetian League; abbr. LV), whose complete name is ( en, Venetian League for Salvini Premier), is a regionalist political party active in Veneto. The LV, whose ideology combines Venetian nationalism and support for fiscal federalism, was established in 1979 and was the first party of its kind in northern Italy, predating Umberto Bossi's Lega Lombarda by five years. Radio Radicale
Radio Radicale is the official radio station of the Italian Radical Party. Founded in 1976 as part of the ''Radio libere'' ("Free Radio”) movement, it has no commercial advertisements and is partly funded by the party, with support from the Italian government as part of an agreement for the broadcasting of Parliamentary sessions.
