Xinyi District, Taipei
Xinyi District or Sinyi District is the seat of the Taipei City Government and Taipei City Council. Filip Tadeusz Grzegorzewski is a Polish and European diplomat, since 2019 he serves as Head of the European Economic and Trade Office in Taiwan. Career Filip Grzegorzewski, representing the European Union in Taiwan, is a senior diplomat in the European External Action Service. The European Commission (EC) is the executive of the European Union (EU). It operates as a cabinet government, with 27 members of the Commission (informally known as "Commissioners") headed by a President. The Prodi Commission was the European Commission in office between 1999 and 2004. The administration was led by former Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi. History The commission took office on 16 September 1999 following the scandal and subsequent resignation of the Santer Commission which had damaged the reputation of the institution. Due to the special political status and One-China policy, Taiwan is only recognized by 14 countries, all of whom have an embassies in Taipei.
