EuroBasket 2022 Qualification
The EuroBasket 2022 qualification was a basketball competition that was played from November 2017 to February 2021, to determine the 20 FIBA Europe nations who would join the automatically qualified co-hosts Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany at the EuroBasket 2022 finals tournament. Pre-Qualifiers The EuroBasket 2022 Pre-Qualifiers were played by 17 teams over three rounds. The best eight teams advanced to the EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers. First round The pre-qualifiers first round was played by nine teams: Five eliminated in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification (Europe)#Pre-Qualifiers, 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup pre-qualifiers, and four teams that did not enter in those qualifiers. The winner of each group and the best runner-up team qualified for the second round, that gave the option to qualify directly to the EuroBasket qualifiers. EuroBasket 2017 Qualification
This article describes the qualification procedure for EuroBasket 2017. Qualification format All teams which didn't qualify yet for EuroBasket 2017 were divided into six groups of four teams and one more of three. The winners of each group and the four best second-placed teams qualified for the final tournament. Kosovo national basketball team, Kosovo made its first international appearance while Albania national basketball team, Albania and Cyprus national basketball team, Cyprus came back to the competition after absenting from the last edition. Russian Basketball Federation was suspended by FIBA in July 2015, but later their membership was restored in November 2015. Michael Fusek (born June 5, 1995) is a Slovak professional basketball player. He stands 2.24 m (7’4’’) tall and plays center.
