Eugenia Kuzmina
Eugenia Kuzmina (russian: Евге́ния Кузьминá; ''Yevgeniya Kuzmina''; born 25 December 1987) is a Russian-American actress, comedian and model. Her modeling career took off when she appeared on the cover of '' Glamour'', and walked the runway for multiple designers including Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Thierry Mugler. She appeared in advertisements for Hermes, Armani jeans, Dior sunglasses, GAP, and L'Oreal. Her first video appearance outside of Russia was in a music video "Ange étrange" by David Hallyday. In 2011, Kuzmina transitioned into acting. Early life Kuzmina was born in 1987 in Moscow, Soviet Union. Her father was a nuclear physicist. Her mother is a former scientist and a housewife. She was training to be a professional ice skater when at the age of 13 she was discovered by the Russian designer Slava Zaitsev. ''Pole Chudes'' ( rus, По́ле Чуде́с, p=ˈpolʲɪ tɕʉˈdʲes, '' The Field of Wonders'') is a Russian adaptation of the U.S. game show ''Wheel of Fortune'' (loosely based on the original format; the license wasn't bought from the distributor) produced by VID, provided with elements of Russian culture and hosted by Leonid Yakubovich. The current rating of the show suggests it is intended for ages 16 and above, unlike the American version which is suitable for all age groups. Channel One Russia currently intends to stop buying Pole Chudes from VID and replace it with a licensed version of Wheel of Fortune under the same name since January 2022. ''Shape'' is a monthly English language fitness magazine started by Weider Publications in 1981, founded by Christine MacIntyre (a pioneer in women's free weight fitness) and became the number one women's fitness magazine. At that time, Weider Enterprises consisted primarily of the bodybuilding magazine ''Muscle & Fitness''. Joe Weider and Christine MacIntyre had differing views of how to present ''Shape'', Weider endorsing a less journalistic and more commercial approach to articles, MacIntyre endorsing a more academic, doctor-based magazine. Weider also endorsed a sexier approach to editorial while MacIntyre endorsed a healthier look for women, eschewing sexiness in the models and the copy.
