Ethan Ryan (born 12 May 1996) is an Ireland international rugby league footballer who plays as a or for Salford Red Devils in the Betfred Super League. He previously played for the Bradford Bulls in the Betfred Championship and League 1. Background Ryan was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. He is a product of the Bradford Bulls Academy system and signed his first professional contract in October 2015. Ryan previously played for local amateur sides Queensbury and West Bowling ARLFC and was also part of Keighley scholarship. The London Broncos are a professional rugby league club in London, England. The club competes in the RFL Championship. It was a member of Super League from its inaugural season in 1996 until the end of the 2014 season, when they were relegated to the Championship. They returned to the Super League after achieving promotion by winning the Million Pound Game against the Toronto Wolfpack in 2018, but were relegated back to the Championship at the end of the 2019 Super League season after finishing 12th. Super League
The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. 2017 Challenge Cup
The 2017 Challenge Cup, (also known as the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 116th staging of the Challenge Cup the main rugby league knockout tournament for teams in the Super League, the British National Leagues and a number of invited amateur clubs. The defending champions were Hull F.C. who beat Warrington Wolves 12–10 in the 2016 final at Wembley Stadium. Hull F.C. retained the trophy beating Wigan Warriors 18–14 at Wembley on 26 August 2017.
