Esu Evert Niemelä (16 June 1921 – 30 November 1999) was a Finnish farmer and politician. Niemelä was born in Sääminki. Sääminki (; sv, Säminge) is countryside and former municipality of Finland. Most of Sääminki municipality was incorporated in 1973 with the Savonlinna town and the rest with Punkaharju municipality. The Parliament of Finland ( ; ) is the unicameral and supreme legislature of Finland, founded on 9 May 1906. In accordance with the Constitution of Finland, sovereignty belongs to the people, and that power is vested in the Parliament.
