Estádio Bento Mendes de Freitas is a multi-use stadium located in Pelotas, Brazil. It is used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of Grêmio Esportivo Brasil. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 18,000 people and was built in 1943. It is owned by Grêmio Esportivo Brasil, and is named after Bento da Silva Freitas, who was Grêmio Esportivo Brasil's president during the stadium construction. Pelotas () is a Brazilian city and municipality (''município''), the third most populous in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul. Grêmio Esportivo Brasil, commonly referred to as Brasil de Pelotas, is a Brazilian professional club based in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul founded on 7 September 1911.
