Estudio Lamela is a Spanish firm of architecture and urbanism based in Madrid, Spain. History Estudio Lamela was created in 1954 when Antonio Lamela (Madrid, 1926) obtained his architecture degree. The firm is presently headed by his son Carlos Lamela (Madrid, 1957), who has been a qualified architect since 1981. From its beginnings, Estudio Lamela has grown to become one of the main architecture firms of Spain, with a very prolific output in the fields of residential and tourist architecture. The firm's architectural approach is to provide technically innovative solutions from a modern and rational perspective. It has developed large national and international projects in all architectural areas, especially residential, tertiary, sports and airport. Antonio Lamela Martínez (December 1, 1926 – April 1, 2017) was a Spanish architect. Biography and works Lamela was born in Madrid. He graduated from the Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM) in 1954 and received his doctorate in 1959. From the beginning of his professional career he proved to be a visionary and innovative architect, the result of his great professional curiosity and much global travelling. * In 1954 he founded Estudio Lamela, the architecture firm where he has spent his entire professional career. * Between 1956 and 1958, he built the first residential building in Madrid that had air conditioning, individual rubbish chutes, interior ventilation shunts, mobile partition walls, complete exterior lighting, garden terraces, raised portals and suspended light façades. The Arena Lublin is a football stadium located in Lublin, Poland. It is the home ground of Motor Lublin. The stadium holds 15,243 people. History On September 2, 2011, the Budimex company signed an investment contract. Budimex undertook to build a stadium for PLN 136,207 by September 2013, and the first visuals and work schedule appeared 3–4 weeks from the date of signing the contract. The stadium was designed by the award-winning Estudio Lamela architectural office, which in the early 1990s prepared plans to modernize and enlarge Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid and designed the new Cracovia stadium.
