Esther Estrella (born Esther Cordery; September 6, 1919 – March 29, 2005) was an American film actress from 1940 to 1942 who appeared in Western films and serials. She made ten films including '' Prairie Pioneers'' (1941) in which she was the female lead alongside The Three Mesquiteers. Hemet, California
Hemet is a city in the San Jacinto Valley in Riverside County, California. It covers a total area of , about half of the valley, which it shares with the neighboring city of San Jacinto. The population was 89,833 at the 2020 census. The founding of Hemet, initially called South San Jacinto, predates the formation of Riverside County. This area was then still part of San Diego County. The formation of Lake Hemet helped the city to grow and stimulated agriculture in the area. The city is known for being the home of ''The Ramona Pageant'', California's official outdoor play set in the Spanish colonial era. To The Shores Of Tripoli
''To the Shores of Tripoli'' is a 1942 American Technicolor film directed by H. Bruce Humberstone and starring John Payne, Maureen O'Hara and Randolph Scott. The film was produced by Darryl F. Zanuck. Its cinematography was nominated for an Academy Award in 1943. Titled after a lyric in the Marines' Hymn, which contains the phrase "... to the shores of Tripoli" (which is, itself, a reference to the Battle of Derne), the film is one of the last of the pre-Pearl Harbor service films. When the film was in post-production the Pearl Harbor attack occurred, causing the studio to shoot a new ending in which Payne's character re-enlists. The supporting cast features Nancy Kelly, Maxie Rosenbloom, Harry Morgan, and Alan Hale Jr.. Wayne plays Tom Craig, a Boston pharmacist who relocates to Sacramento during the Gold Rush.
