Estadio Pepe Rojo
Estadio Pepe Rojo is a sports stadium located in the city of Valladolid, Spain. It is the home ground of CR El Salvador and Valladolid RAC leading clubs of the División de Honor, the top-level of Spanish rugby. The stadium is named after José Rojo Giralda, the president of the Valladolid Rugby Federation in the 1960s. Facilities The sports complex consists of five rugby fields (Field no.1 - main field; Field no.2; field no.3 - 'track and field'; field no.4 and field no. 5, - 'artificial grass' ), of which the no. 1 y no. 2 are used regularly for first-grade official competitions (División de Honor, División de Honor B, Copa del Rey...). Valladolid
Valladolid () is a municipality in Spain and the primary seat of government and de facto capital of the autonomous community of Castile and León. CR El Salvador
Club de Rugby El Salvador, known for sponsorship reasons as SilverStorm El Salvador on the men's category and as Crealia El Salvador on the women's, is a Spanish rugby union club. The club was established in 1960 and currently competes in the men's División de Honor de Rugby and in the women's División de Honor Femenina de Rugby competitions, the highest levels of Spanish club rugby. The club is based in Valladolid in central Spain, playing their matches at the Estadio Pepe Rojo. The club's colours are black and white. División De Honor De Rugby
The División de Honor de Rugby is Spain's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The División de Honor de Rugby Championship is organised by the Federación Española de Rugby (Spanish Rugby Federation) and currently consists of 12 teams. The last-placed team in the competition is relegated at the end of the season to the División de Honor B, Spain`s second level of men's rugby union. The team finishing 11th enters a relegation/promotion playoff with the runner-up from the Division de Honor B playoffs. The Copa Ibérica de Rugby (''Iberian Rugby Cup'') is a rugby union knock-out competition played annually by clubs of the Spanish Rugby Federation and Portuguese Rugby Federation. It was played for the first time in 1965. Between 1965 and 1971 it was played by 4 clubs (2 of each country, both Champion's and both Runner's-up), that face each other in ligule type competition. The competition stopped being played in 1972, but returned in 1983 with a new format, with the 2 Champion's facing each other in just one game. In the season 2007–2008 it returned to the ligule type competition. In 2009, a new competition named Iberian Rugby Cup was designed. This style of rugby was meant to be played with 8 teams, four of each federation, although it was suspended. The EPCR Challenge Cup is an annual rugby union competition organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). It is the second-tier competition for clubs based in European leagues behind the European Rugby Champions Cup. From its inception in 1996 to 2014, it was known as the European Challenge Cup and governed by European Rugby Cup (ERC). The Vaccaei or Vaccei were a pre-Roman Celtic people of Spain, who inhabited the sedimentary plains of the central Duero valley, in the Meseta Central of northern Hispania (specifically in Castile and León). The Superibérica de Rugby was a national rugby union competition in Spain which was held in 2009 with six Spanish teams, with the hope of expanding to include Portuguese teams and a team from Gibraltar in the future.
