Escuela Libre De Derecho
Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) is a law school in Mexico City founded in 1912. Since its establishment in 1912, the Escuela has had as its only mission the teaching of law, breeding from the principles of academic freedom, outside of any form of religiosity, or political ideology. Alumni of this school practice law in the private, as well as in the public sector, in every level of government, in the three branches of government and constitutionally autonomous organisms, and includes among its alumni two Mexican presidents, and former and current Supreme Court members. History Escuela Libre de Derecho was founded on July 24, 1912 by several alumni of the Escuela Nacional de Jurisprudencia in protest of the imposition of Luis Cabrera as the dean, overlooking Don Jorge Vera Estañol. Latin
Latin (, or , ) is a classical language belonging to the Italic branch of the Indo-European languages. Javier Lozano Alarcón
Javier Lozano Alarcón (born November 21, 1962) is a Mexican politician who served Secretary of Labor in the cabinet of President Felipe Calderón. He was elected as a senator to the LXII Legislature of the Mexican Congress, representing Puebla. He then resigned from the PAN and worked in the campaign of presidential candidate José Antonio Meade Kuribreña. He was telecoms consultant. Lozano has served as president of the Federal Telecommunications Commission (COFETEL). Luis Pazos
Luis Pazos (born in Veracruz on 25 August 1947) is a Mexican economist, writer and politician. He has a degree in Economics and Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Monterrey TEC), and a degree in Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City. He studied public administration at New York University (NYU). Academic career At the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) he received a master's degree in public finance, and a doctorate in superior studies at the Law School, where lectured on the theory of economics. He has also lectured on Political Economy at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. Arturo Fernando Zaldívar Lelo de Larrea (born August 9, 1959) is a Mexican lawyer who has been a member of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation since December 2009. Demetrio Sodi Guergué
Demetrio Sodi Guergué Antuñana (; October 18, 1866October 29, 1934) was a Mexican journalist, writer, jurist and politician who served as the President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation from 1908 to 1910, and as Secretary of Justice during the presidency of Porfirio Díaz from March to May 1911. He was also the defense attorney in the trial of José de León Toral, the assassin of then president-elect Alvaro Obregón. Pedro José Domingo de la Calzada Manuel María Lascuráin Paredes (8 May 1856 – 21 July 1952) (in Spanish) was a Mexican politician who served as the 38th President of Mexico for less than one hour (45 minutes) on February 19, 1913, the shortest presidency in history.
