Escapade Music Festival
Escapade Music Festival is an annual electronic dance musicfestival held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and hosts some of the biggest names in the electronic dance music industry. History Escapade Music Festival made its debut in 2010 as a one day event in the Byward Market with Deadmau5 headlining it and a few hundred attendees. In 2011, Escapade Music Festival grew in size to accommodate the growth of the festival, taking place in a large market parking space and featuring 3 Major headlining DJs, Tiesto, Laidback Luke and Calvin Harris (estimated 5,000 in attendance). In 2012, Escapade grew exponentially in size and scale to accommodate an estimated 15,000 people over 2 days (June 30 – July 1) at the Ottawa Baseball Stadium in East Ottawa, with 40+ DJs performing over 3 stages. Mark Knight (born 1962) is an Australian cartoonist. He is currently the editorial cartoonist for the '' Herald Sun'', a daily tabloid newspaper in Melbourne. A founding member of the Pardon My French collective, he is best known for his solo work and regarded as a pioneer of the future house genre alongside Dutch DJs Oliver Heldens and Don Diablo. McKinley Phipps, Jr. (born July 30, 1977), better known simply as Mac, is an American rapper and songwriter from New Orleans' 3rd Ward. Mac began rapping as a child, releasing his debut album ''The Lyrical Midget'' at the age of 13 in 1990, under the stage name ''Lil Mac''.
