Erwin Van De Looi
Erwin van de Looi (born 25 February 1972) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of the Netherlands U21 team. Playing career Van de Looi played in the youth academies of RKHVV and Vitesse 1892 and made his professional debut for second-tier Eerste Divisie club BVV Den Bosch in 1992 as a loanee. After a season, in which he made few appearances, van de Looi was given an opportunity to play by Vitesse head coach Herbert Neumann. Van de Looi impressed and made 30 appearances in his first full season at the club. He would eventually make 133 appearances for Vitesse, whom he also represented in 10 UEFA Cup matches. Van de Looi was also selected once for the Netherlands national team during his time at the club, in a practice match against Portugal. However, he did not make an appearance during the match. Football Club Groningen () is a Dutch professional association football club based in Groningen, province of Groningen. Founded on 16 June 1971 as the successor of GVAV, the team compete in the Eredivisie, the highest tier of Dutch football. Groningen played their inaugural season in the Eredivisie, before the side were relegated to the Eerste Divisie in 1973–74 as they got into financial difficulties. The Eredivisie (; ''"Honour Division"'' or ''"Premier Division"'') is the highest level of professional football in the Netherlands. KNVB Cup
The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. Marcel Groninger (born 19 August 1970) is a Dutch football coach and former player who is assistant coach of the Netherlands U21 national team. In 2013, Groninger won the national Rinus Michels Award for his coaching of Be Quick 1887. Playing career Groninger was a youth player of GRC Groningen, where he was scouted by FC Groningen. He then played in FC Groningen youth. In the season of 1990-1991 he was a member of FC Groningen's first squad. He played mostly on the second team that won the championship of the Reserveklasse. Art Langeler (born 16 August 1970) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. Playing career Langeler started playing football with SP Lochem. At U19 level, he moved to De Graafschap. After playing for a year in the U21 team, he signed a three-year professional contract in 1990. He was part of De Graafschap's first team from 1990 to 1992, and made 20 appearances for the first team. UEFA European Under-21 Championship
The UEFA European Under-21 Championship, the UEFA Under-21 Championship or simply the Euro Under-21, is a biennial football competition contested by the European men's under-21 national teams of the UEFA member associations.
