To create this garden he used up all his wealth and power, even stealing from the poor. He made it so beautiful that it was said to have fountains of wine and milk, and rocks made of the most precious gems that one could ever imagine. His cruelty is said to have upset God and God decided to punish him, so that he would never lay eyes on Erum. Just when Shaddad was about to enter the gates of Erum he tripped on the steps and died on the spot. Errum Manzil
''Errum Manzil'' or Iram Manzil is an expansive palace standing in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was built around the year 1870 by Nawab Safdar Jung Musheer-ud-daula Fakhrul Mulk, a nobleman of Hyderabad state. It is located on top of a hillock off the Khairatabad - Panjagutta road. History The mansion is located atop a hillock known as Erragadda or "red hill" in the native Telugu language. For this reason, nawab Fakhrul Mulk decided to name the new palace "Iram Manzil" (Persian language, Persian for 'Paradise Mansion'), because the Persian word 'Iram' meaning 'Paradise' sounds like "Erram," the Telugu language, Telugu word for "red." He also got the building painted a shade of red in order to emphasize the link, and so you had the red-coloured Erra Manzil on top of Erragadda hill. The nawab intended that the mansion be known by two similar-sounding names: 'Iram Manzil' for the Persian-friendly Muslim nobility of the state and 'Erram Manzil' for the local Telugu people. In time ...

Iram in the Quran The Quran mentions Iram in connection with ''‘imad'' (pillars): Surah al-Fajr (6-14) There are several explanations for the reference to "Iram – who had lofty pillars". Some see this as a geographic location, either a city or an area, others as the name of a tribe. Those identifying it as a city have made various suggestions as to where or what city it was, ranging from Alexandria or Damascus to a city which actually moved or a city called Ubar. As an area, it has been identified with the biblical region known as Aram. It has also been identified as a tribe, possibly the tribe of ʿĀd, with the pillars referring to tent pillars. The Nabataeans were one of the many nomadic Bedouin tribes who r ...
