Erlend Apneseth
Erlend Apneseth (born 11 August 1990) is a hardingfele player from Jølster in Sogn og Fjordane. Biography Apneseth is known for his critically acclaimed albums on HUBRO / Grappa, with his trio featuring drummer Øyvind Hegg-Lunde (drums, percussion) and Stephan Meidell (guitar, electronics), as well as his own solo-projects. He has written music for cinema, theatre, dance performances, poetry, and musical ensembles and orchestras in different genres. As a soloist he has appeared with Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester and The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra among others. He has received several awards, such as Gammleng-prisen, Øyvind Berghs Minnepris and the Folkelarm-award. Erlend Øye
Erlend Øye (born 21 November 1975) is a Norwegian composer, musician, producer, singer and songwriter from Bergen, best known for being one half of the indie folk duo Kings of Convenience, along with Eirik Glambek Bøe. Among other musical projects he is front-man for the band The Whitest Boy Alive, and has contributed to tracks by electronic music artists such as Dntel and Norwegian duo Röyksopp. He is also the co-founder of the independent label Bubbles Records. Since 2012 he has lived in Sicily and played extensively with trio La Comitiva. In addition to his native Norwegian, he also speaks English and some Italian. Erlend Wiborg (born 20 January 1984) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party. He served as deputy mayor of Moss from 2011 to 2013, when he was elected as an MP for Østfold. He has previously served as deputy MP from 2005 to 2013. In parliament, Wiborg served as the first vice chair of the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Affairs from 2013 to 2017, before chairing the committee until 2021. Erlend Tvinnereim (born 3 August 1981 in Bergen, Norway) is a Norwegian tenor based in Zürich, Switzerland. He has in recent years been much used as a concert singer in Switzerland, Germany and Scandinavia, and in the season 08/09 he performed as "young artist" at the opera in Basel where he cased several significant roles. Earl of Orkney, historically Jarl of Orkney, is a title of nobility encompassing the archipelagoes of Orkney and Shetland, which comprise the Northern Isles of Scotland. Paul Thorfinnsson (died 1098) and Erlend Thorfinnsson (died 1098) were brothers who ruled together as Earls of Orkney. Paul and Erlend were the sons of Thorfinn Sigurdsson and Ingibiorg Finnsdottir. Through Ingibiorg's father Finn Arnesson and his wife, the family was related to the Norwegian Kings Olav II and Harald II. They are both described as "tall, handsome men, shrewd and gentle, taking rather more after their mother's side of the family. Erlend Storesund (born 22 February 1985 in Bergen) is a Norwegian footballer. He's a left footed winger, which had played for Brann all his life until he was loaned out to Løv-Ham the summer of 2005. In January 2006 he signed a new contract with Brann, which was supposed to expire after the 2007 season, but due to Brann having too many players out on loan, it was annulled the summer before it expired, and Storesund signed a contract with Løv-Ham for the rest of the season, a contract that was subsequently prolonged.
